What is Taste by Pace?
Taste by Pace is a UK drinks sampling agency for Gen Z. We put drinks brands in front of Gen Z inside restaurants, pubs, bars, hotels, gyms, stadiums and live events, run the campaign end to end and report trial, redemption and feedback. Taste is part of Pace Hospitality Services Limited.
How does a drinks sampling campaign with Taste work?
Three steps. We match your brand with venues whose room, audience and occasion suit the drink. You approve every venue. We manage the stock, serve, team briefing, point of sale and the mechanic that brings guests back. Then we measure what came back and report it.
Which sampling formats does Taste run?
Three formats. In venue: served as part of the occasion in restaurants, pubs, bars, hotels and gyms. Delivery: in the bag with a card and a code, tried at home with the meal. Sport and live: stadium concourses, fan zones, hospitality boxes and festivals.
How do you reach Gen Z drinkers?
By sampling where Gen Z already spends time: the restaurants, bars, gyms, stadiums and festivals they choose, at the moment they are ordering, training or celebrating. Taste was founded by a member of the market it serves, so venue choice starts from where Gen Z actually goes.
How is a sampling campaign measured?
Every campaign reports consumers sampled, cost per trial, redemption against an agreed target and guest feedback in their own words. Unique codes and QR journeys track redemption rather than estimate it. Venues also see covers and spend by site and day part.
How much does drinks sampling cost?
Each campaign is priced on its own. A base package covers matching, management and the standard report, sized on sites, days and serves. Optional bolt-ons add bounce-back mechanics, tracking, content and extended reporting. The brand funds the stock. You get a proposal with the match and format before anything is agreed.
What results has Taste delivered?
For Crodino, from Campari Group, we put a bottle in selected Prezzo delivery orders with a QR code for a £15 dine-in voucher. Over 44 days, from 13 May to 25 June 2026, the bounce-back rate reached 3.6% against a 2.75% target: 31% above target.
Do you work with non-alcoholic and low-alcohol drinks?
Yes. Our published case study is Crodino, a non-alcoholic aperitivo. We work with alcoholic, low and no alcohol and soft drinks brands. Alcohol is only ever sampled to guests aged 18 and over, under each venue's age checks. Beyond drinks we also activate snacks, beauty, fashion and subscription brands.
Where in the UK do you run campaigns?
Across the United Kingdom, wherever the right venues are. The Crodino campaign ran with Prezzo restaurants across London and the South East.

What does a venue get from a Taste campaign?
A brand guests already follow, a reason to visit this month and free stock. Stock, team briefing, training and point of sale are handled for you. Afterwards you see covers and spend by site and day part, what guests said and media for your own channels.
What does it cost a venue to take part?
No fee to take part and no cost for stock. The brand funds the stock and the activation. Pricing for venues is a share of the incremental value the campaign creates, agreed before the first serve.
What is asked of my team?
Your team serves. We supply the stock, the serve spec, a team briefing, point of sale and the activation kit. We agree the dates and the serve with you before launch.
Which venues does Taste work with?
Restaurants, pubs, bars, hotels, gyms, stadiums, fan zones and festivals. Established brands go into small, culturally hot venues. Emerging brands go across large, high-volume groups such as Prezzo's 97 sites.
